Swim Safe 306 Inc. is Dedicated to Teaching Water Safety and Skill Development to Swimmers in Saskatchewan

About Us

Swim Safe 306 Inc. is currently a small, season business owned and operated solely by Kendria Symak.

Kendria obtained her Water Safety Instructor and National Lifeguard certifications in 2008 and has continued to grow her water safety knowledge and experience ever since. Since 2012 she has gained certifications as a National Lifeguard Instructor, Lifesaving Instructor, First-Aid Instructor and Lifesaving Trainer.

In 2019, Kendria was appointed an ‘Honorary Associate of the Society’ from the Lifesaving Society and Lieutenant Governor Russ Mirasty, for her dedication to the aquatic industry and ongoing mentorship of new instructors at each level.

In 2023, she received a Commonwealth Service Medal from the Lifesaving Society for her contribution toward the Society and its mission of drowning prevention, once again presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan.

"I believe that learning to swim is a necessity in Saskatchewan. For a landlocked province, we sure have a lot of water! I believe that water safety and swimming skill development is paramount for an enjoyable summer at the lake and life-long fun on the water. Swim Safe 306 Inc. was created from my passion for swimming and aquatic instruction - and I want to share my passion with you!"

All of Swim Safe 306 Inc.’s employees are trained in water rescue, holding a current Lifesaving Society Bronze Cross or Lifesaving Society National Lifeguard certification and a current first-aid and CPR-C/AED certification. All instructors are current Swim for Life and Lifesaving Instructors, certified through the Lifesaving Society.
